UV Testing to Ensure Quality
By performing in-house UV Testing with our Q-Lab QUV/SE accelerated weathering tester, we can simulate a full year of sun exposure and weathering in a matter of 30 days, so we can get a full understanding of how your fasteners will hold up against the elements.
Salt Spray Testing to Test Durability
By utilizing a state-of-the-art Singleton SCCH salt fog chamber, we can confirm that our fasteners have the ability to hold strong through the humidity and corrosive elements it gets exposed to naturally.
Plating for High Salt Spray Results
At ECC, we have the ability to coat fasteners in a variety of ways, including zinc, dip spin, special seals, Armour Protek, and Armour Protek Ultra, which allows us to achieve salt spray hours of more than 12,000.
Engineering and Design
ECC also has the ability to design and manufacture custom nuts and blots and specialty fasteners. Whether you have detailed prints or just a rough concept of what you need, we can create a prototype for testing before any long-term production begins.
